Regulation 5 - Duty Types, Promotions and Salary
Section I - Duty Types
Subsection 1. Active Duty
- Active Duty Personnel will have to spend at least 10 hours a week in the HQ.
- Once you reach OR-4 you will need to join a billet before you can gain a promotion to OR-5.
- If you are active duty and do not log on for 7 days or more you will be labelled AWOL and discharged as such.
- You must complete tasks delegated to you by your billet.
Subsection 2. Light Duty
- You will be labelled as an Army Reserve.
- The minimum rank to join Army reserves is OR-5.
- Reserves cannot be promoted, but service time is still counted.
- Reserves cannot join a billet, and if you go on reserves you will have to leave your billet and re-apply to join back.
- Reserve members must log in every 25 days to not be labelled AWOL.
- Everyone that wants to cancel Light Duty should post the Active Duty request to the same thread where they posted their Leave request.
Subsection 3. Leaves
- Personnel On Leave should have *OL* in the begging of their motto.
- The maximum time for Leave duty is 14 days (2 weeks).
- Personnel On Leave may wear any dress but their badge and motto should be always there.
- Personnel On Leave may enter the HQ but they should not do duties.
- Everyone that wants to cancel Leave duty should post the Active Duty request to the same thread where they posted their Leave request.
Section II - Promotions
Subsection 1. Overview
Promotions are awarded at random times to enlisted and above for their hard work and dedication to the French Army. Promotions are not given for just simply being here, they are based on merit and hard work. You will not receive a promotion for being there for a period of time. In order for someone to be eligible for a promotion, they must have met the time outlined in this policy, have all AITs for their rank and must be a member of a billet (OR-5+). Promotions of officers must be done by a senior officer within promotional authority! You can not promote to the same rank as per promotional authority.

Subsection 3. Positional Minimum Rank
The following table shows minimum rank needed to apply for a position. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of any SCB member.

Subsection 4. Recommended Service Time
Only OF-3+ can promote someone who has not met their service time.

Subsection 5. Auto-promotions
If an enlisted has met all the requirements below they may be promoted at any time, regardless of their service time.
Section III - Salary
The salary for FA personnel is paid out by SCB every friday (GMT+2, 8PM to midnight). In order to be paid, you must be OR-5+, hold status of Active Duty and had no disciplinary actions in the past week. If you miss the paying, you will be paid next time.
